Evie Suarez is the Chief of Staff and a Talent Strategist. Juggling countless balls at once, Evie helps to keep the ship in motion! She leads the Assemble Operations team, ensuring that our trains run on time and our projects meet the Assemble standards of customization with #CandorCourageAndCare™. Evie builds relationships inside Team Assemble and across our client portfolio. She is also an experienced Talent Strategist, working as a partner to clients in areas of people operations, employee relations, and leadership coaching.
Evie is a dynamic leader with 10+ years of experience in Human Resources & Talent in industries including manufacturing, retail, and property management with companies including Andersen Windows, Macy’s, McCormick, and Cortland Partners. She has great experience as a business partner/coach to leaders navigating complex people challenges and has also held roles in project management, team leadership, employee relations, and total rewards. Evie believes the “coaching sweet-spot” is reached by understanding “the game” and by establishing strong rapport with the key players. She has a passion for learning about the business drivers and what fuels the bottom line. Evie focuses on building authentic relationships because she believes strong partnerships with foundations of vulnerability, trust, and mutual respect will undoubtedly yield positive results.
Evie holds a degree from Rutgers University with coursework in organizational leadership, literature, education, and human resource management. She currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia where she enjoys warm weather and a vibrant city life. When she is not out socializing in the sun or finding a new restaurant to enjoy food, she is likely practicing yoga or working on her sci-fi novel.
