Meet Jennene Tierney

Executive Coach & Talent Strategist

Jennene is an ICF certified Executive Coach and HR/Talent Strategy Consultant who is passionate about helping leaders and teams build healthy organizational cultures, increase team performance and alignment, and find that right balance between purpose,potential and well-being.

When asked about Jennene, she is most frequently described as a trusted advisor, a relationship builder, and as a coach that “brings a unique combination of emotional intelligence, empathy and straight talk” to her clients. Helping diverse leaders and teams to leverage and expand their authentic leadership style and strengths is what gets Jennene going! Optimistic, caring and relational, while also direct and results-oriented, Jennene supports her clients in gaining greater self-awareness, enhancing their leadership mindset and presence, and making concrete progress on
desired goals. She helps leaders to increase alignment between what they think, what they want, and how they show up. She walks together with them as a guide and a champion, as they step out of their comfort zones and try on new ways at work and in life.

Jennene brings 20+ years of leadership experience to her coaching. She spent the early part of her career as an OD/Change Management Consultant, first with Accenture working with large Fortune 100 clients and later with a small non-profit consulting firm in New York City. She continued to hone her skills serving in several strategic HR roles at global non-profit and philanthropic organizations such as, UNICEF USA, CARE USA, and the Arcu Foundation. Jennene has a keen understanding of the complex pressures facing leaders, both in normal times, as well as in these times of accelerating change.

She earned her undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Temple University and an MBA in Management and Organizational Behavior from St. John’s University.

Jennene currently lives in Montclair, NJ with her husband Brad, their two teenagers Kaya and Evan, and two doodles Puzzle and Bear. Outside of work and family, she loves international travel, long walks/hikes in nature, beach days, attending Broadway shows and smaller group dinners out with friends.
